Years Following: Public Recognition: 1904-1905 Experiments
In order to achieve public recognition, their Flyer had to be easier to control. Between 1904 and 1905 they recorded over 100 flights, the longest lasting 38 minutes and 3 seconds on October 5th, 1905. Almost all of these flights were stopped because they ran out of fuel. Despite these setbacks, people were beginning to take interest in their flights.
